HOW TO MEASURE WOMEN'S PANTS
- Waist: For a high rise waist, measure all the way around the point you would like to wear the pants.This is usually at or covering your navel Allow a bit of extra room for movement and for tucking a shirt. For a Mid-Rise, measure all the way around your waist mid way between the hips and the navel.For a low rise waist, measure around your hips, on the lower part of your hips and decidedly lower than your Mid- waist.
- Seat/Hip: Standing with your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hip (approx. 7-8" below the waist). Don’t forget to keep the tape level.
- Inseam: Best taken from an existing pair of pants you like. Measure along the garment inseam from your crotch seam to the hem.
- Remember that when taking measurements using a tailor's tape, HOLD THE TAPE FIRM AND LEVEL. DO NOT PULL IT TIGHT.
