- Circumference: Use a tape measure and measure around your head just above the ears. If the size is you get is not one offered, select the next larger available size.
- Remember that when taking measurements using a tailor's tape, HOLD THE TAPE FIRM AND LEVEL. DO NOT PULL IT TIGHT.

Authentic African Cork Pith Helmet is the same colonial helmet worn by explorers such as David Livingstone on his safari expeditions through Darkest Africa. Made from genuine cork for lightweight durability and a 100% cotton covering to blend with the bush when in the wild. The leather sweatband inside is adjustable using Velcro adjusters for a snug fit and the adjustable leather chinstrap keeps it secure when bouncing along rough roads in a 4x4 vehicle. Two eyelets on each side and a vent on top provide welcome ventilation on a hot day. The dark green cotton liner under the wide brim reduces glare. This African cork pith helmet was originally designed for safari use, but don’t forget to take it on your next hiking or hunting adventure here in the States.
